Name That Baby!

Spoiler alert! (don’t read on if you don’t want to know a little something about the bun in Mercy’s oven)

Hey guys, I’m having the hardest time naming Mercy’s baby. The first draft is done and it literally says *insert name here* whenever she’s mentioned. Oh yeah, that’s my spoiler, the baby is a girl! I’ve gone through a list of possibles, but nothing’s grabbing me. Ideally I’d like a name that is also a word (like Mercy) so I could possibly use it in titles in the future. The obvious ones like Hope, Faith and Grace come to mind, but too obvious I think.

So, here’s where you come in. I’m taking suggestions for baby names. If I go with your suggestion (you must be the first one to suggest it if there are multiples), you get a signed copy of the book when it’s out and a shout out in the acknowledgments.

The first name that came to mind was Anastasia…but that doesn’t really fit the criteria, lol.

    So…let’s see…
    Dignity
    Joy
    Constance
    Divinity

If I come up with more, I’ll let you know :)

  2. Jocelyn says:

Zoe…the name means “eternal life” in the bible.

  3. I once took voice lessons with a daughter of two musicians named -Aria- (beautiful operatic song). And she could really -sing- too!

Other possibilities are Agape (unconditional love) or Veritas (thirst for knowledge).

I’m sorry to tell you this but you’re not done with the Fallen series yet. I need to read about the “child of light”. Please say you’ll at least consider writing one more book in this series. I’ve been waiting for years and have read and re-read this series so many times I know it by heart. Please don’t break that heart by saying you won’t even consider giving us one more peek into the lives of Mercy, Adam, Sam, Daphne, sweet adorable Nelo and of course Eve. I know there are more challenges ahead for them and I can’t help thinking you’ve thought about them over the years too. Put those thoughts to paper…Please!!

I’m not that great at expressing my thoughts in writing (especially using the flat keyboard on my kindle), but I’m almost through rereading book five of the series again and it’s making me sad that it’s going to end, so I thought I’d pop into your website and beg a little to stretch out the last bit of time I will get to spend with your fallen angels and hopefully convince you that there is more story to tell. They really have brought me a great deal of entertainment and taken me to magical places that I can truly see through your words and for that I am profoundly grateful. Thank you!

Hi Ricki. I’m done with the Fallen series for the moment, but that doesn’t mean I’m done with the characters completely. I will eventually get to a spin-off series for Evie, and possibly a novella or two about Mercy for the time in between, but I don’t have a release date, because my other series are taking up all of my time.

In the meantime, have you given any of my other books a try? I’m working on #29 now, so there’s plenty to keep you busy. :)
